AC Milan and Chelsea are both teams that need some improvements and their match against each other will be a great opportunity to identify problems for either teams. Both teams are massive international brands and they will both want to impress their fans out of Europe so this should actually be a great game.

AC Milan lost their previous match to Liverpool in a game where they looked so bad it was hard to remember that this team once had the likes of Kaka, Ronaldinho and Van Basten playing for them. We need to still remember that it is still pre-season but with drama in the team including a sale in ownership improvement may not arrive in time.

Chelsea on the other hand seem to be strengthening their team by the day and Conte is seeming creating a side that can compete for the Premier League title. The only problem for me at the moment with Chelsea is the formation. This side has been playing a 4-2-4 which is good in theory but with Fabregas in the middle, it might leave the backline a little exposed. That being said, this is still a trial and against a weak AC Milan side I think it should be fine.

I think Chelsea will win this game but I think it is a bad idea to bet on them since pre-season games have been very unpredictable this season. I think the over 2.5 goals is still good though. These game have been high scoring so far and with these two playing each other, I don’t think there is a reason why this trend would be changing. We are getting a great price on this investment so I think it is worth it.

Pick:
Over 2.5 Goals
