Dutch outfit, Ajax Amsterdam will host Juventus in the first leg of the quarter-final tie in the UEFA Champions League. This match will be played at Amsterdam Arena which is Ajax’s home ground.

Juventus enter this match in supreme form after the team defeated AC Milan over the weekend in Serie A. It was a very solid performance by Juventus as they had less possession and shots on goal but still managed to get the 3 points. Paulo Dybala and Moise Kean were the two star performers for Juventus as both players scored. Juventus completed a drastic comeback in their previous Champions League match as they eliminated Atletico Madrid and that win will ensure that the team enters this match filled with confidence.

Similar to Juventus, Ajax also caused a major comeback in the previous round of the Champions League as the Dutch side defeated Real Madrid away from home to secure qualification. Dusan Tadic played extremely well in the win against Real Madrid and this team will have the belief that they can compete against Juventus. Ajax have won their last 3 games in their domestic league which means that the team will enter this match with good form on their side.

This leg will be very crucial for Ajax Amsterdam as a loss at home will make it very difficult for them to win this tie. That scenario places this contest in a very interesting position as Ajax Amsterdam don’t have the quality to attack Juventus for 90 minutes without being seriously exposed in defence. Juventus have the stronger outfit and they are playing exceptional football at the moment. Ajax will try to win this home leg but with the quality of Juventus, I see the Italian side winning away from home since they will have many scoring chances.
