One of the better match ups on paper in the Europa League will see Anderlecht host Tottenham Hotspur in Brussels. Anderlecht are just a point off top in the Belgian League. Anderlecht have a great home record and have lost just once in their last thirty one home games in all competitons. With a very young side Anderlecht will look to take the game to Tottenham with their speed. Tielemans, Praet, Defour and Okaka will be key men for the home side with Okaka leading the line. The Italian striker has six goals in ten games this season and with the eighteen year old Tielemans just making the breakthrough this season it will be interesting to see how Anderlecht line up if the youngster continues to make an impact on his introductions. Defour was a much sought after youngster and at twenty six he is still young enough to turn his career around after a big money move to Porto didnt really work out.
Tottenham come into this game with three draws in a row and the team really struggling to find the net. Son the South Korean striker hasnt played since the 4-1 win over Manchester City and Spurs have missed his industrious work up front. Harry Kane has really struggled this season and with just one goal in nine games Spurs fans are wondering where the Kane from last season is. The return of Christian Erikson to fitness is a huge bonus for Pochettino's side and the brilliant Dane will be key to getting Tottenhams's offence clicking.
Tough game to call here but given Anderlecht's solid home form I am going to take the draw. Tottenham are difficult to beat and I think they will be happy with a point from this one as they look to negotiate a tricky Europa League group.
