Live from the AT &T Stadium in Arlington Texas comes one of the glamour friendlies of this International window as World Cup Runners up Argentina take on Gold Cup winners Mexico in what should be a really entertaining game of football. The worlds best footballer Lionel Messi will line up for Argentina alongside Sergio Aguero, Tevez, Lavezzi and Mascherano, this is a side that could and probably should have won the World Cup. Messi is a genius and with Sergio Aguero up top Argentina have a partnership that is probably ahead of every other International team in the world. Beaten in the Copa America final on penalties Argentina rebounded by hammering Bolivia 7-0 in their recent friendly, I think they will be looking to put in another strong performance here against Mexico as they gear up for World Cup qualifiers in October.
Mexico come into this game off the back of a 3-3 draw with Trinidad, the Gold Cup champions played an experimental side in the Copa America and were knocked out in the Group Stages. Mexico then rebounded well and with a full squad they waltzed through the Gold Cup. With former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez, Carlos Vela, Peralta and Herrerra this is a side not short on attacking talent. New boss Ricardo Ferretti will be still looking to find his feet as boss but this is a talented squad and I think they will go out and give it a go against one of the best teams in the world.
Taking the overs here as both teams have an abundance of attacking talent. This one looks like it will be a free flowing game of football and should be well worth tuning in for. Take the overs and sit back and enjoy.
