Petr Cech (Chelsea) £10m
Signing one of the best goalkeepers in the league is always going to be good business especially as Arseanl have struggled at the position over the last few years. Cech is a quality player and will be worth 5-10 points to Arsenal next season, a little surprising that Mourhino and Chelsea let him go across the city to Arsenal but it is done now.
Arturo Vidal (Juventus) £25m approx
Vidal is one of the best midfielders in the world, inspiring Juventus to a Champions League final and dragging Chile to a Copa America final , there are question marks over Vidal's professionalism and his dedication but his ability is second to none. I dont think this one will happen for a number of reasons, Arsene Wenger has alot of midfield options and I think that the likelihood of him signing another with a spotty off field record. I just cant see it.
Eduardo Vargas ( QPR) £12m??
This one makes sense. Arsenal need another finisher and Vargas is very friendly with Alexis Sanchez. Vargas has been terrific at the Copa America and scored both goals in their semi final win over Peru. Vargas was not a success on loan at QPR but that could be down to the terrible atmosphere at the club rather than Vargas himself. I think this one will probably be decided by how much Napoli are willing to let him go for but £12m seems a fair figure.
Morgan Schneiderlein (Southampton) £15m
The southampton midfielder has been linked with a move to Arsenal for over a year now in fact last off season there were persistant rumours and Schneiderlein himself said he wanted a move. When nothing happened he put the head down and was terrific for Southampton all season. Rumour has it though the french midfield maestro wants a move to Old Trafford and there seems to be a cooling of interest from Wenger. This one is unlikely in my opinion.
