This is a big season for Arsenal. With the longterm manager, Arsene Wenger leaving the club at the end of last season, it is a new era. Unai Emery is the new manager at the North London club and there is huge optimism among the fans. It has been a few seasons that Arsenal have not made it to the Champions League and with a new regime, there is new hope at the football club. The Gunners are currently in their preseason where they will play a friendly against Boreham Wood FC.
Hosting Arsenal will be a big occasion for Boreham Wood FC. It will be a good chance to sell tickets and give the players a great experience of playing against one of the top sides in the world. I don’t think anybody expects anything but a loss from Boreham Wood FC but the home side will not be concerned about the result but rather the opportunity and the experience.
As far as Arsenal are concerned, this will be a great chance for the new manager to find some players he likes. Many of the top players will not have returned from the summer break due to the World Cup but there should be some first-team players back at the Emirates. The likes of Ramsey, Aubameyang, and Lacazette should all be back and this means that we might be able to see some of the top players in action. Expect Unai Emery to rotate his playing 11 extensively since he will look to try out as many players as possible. All the players will look to play well since a good performance to impress the new manager will be a good result.
All in all, Arsenal should win this match with some ease. The Gunners are miles above Boreham Wood FC so I expect this to be a very one-sided game. We are not getting the right price to wager on Arsenal to win so I would avoid that bet. The best bet in the over 3.5 goals which should win since Arsenal might score 7 or 8 goals.
