Brighton and Hove Albion at Arsenal
|Date & Time||Sunday May 5, 2019, 11:30 AM (EDT)|
Arsenal -303 / Brighton and Hove Albion +900 / Draw +375
Arsenal are set to host Brighton at the Emirates Stadium in North London. This match will be very important in determining the end of season outcome for both Arsenal and Brighton.
Arsenal have been very poor in recent weeks as they have thrown away an incredible chance of making the top 4. Arsenal are still fighting for a top 4 spot but it has become unlikely after the team was beaten by Leicester City away from home. Arsenal have been very poor away from home so the fans will hope that returning to the Emirates will change the team's fortune. Arsenal played midweek in the Europa League where they defeated Valencia 3-1 at home. Looking at this fixture, Arsenal are a much stronger side and they will enter this match with some confidence.
Brighton, on the other hand, are in a very tricky situation where they still have the potential of getting relegated. Brighton only managed a 1-1 draw against Newcastle United in their last fixture. It is an extremely tough end to the season for Brighton as they play Manchester City next weekend. Cardiff City are the team below Brighton and looking at the fixtures, the Seagulls will hope to get a result from this match.
Arsenal and Brighton played each other earlier in the season. It was a good match for Brighton as they managed a 1-1 draw. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored for Arsenal during the match. While the result was a draw, Arsenal dominated much of the match as they had 68% of the ball.
Arsenal are a much stronger side when compared to Brighton and the Gunners have been very good at home this season. Arsenal looked very strong during their Europa League match and I see them playing well enough to win this match and get 3 points on the board.
