Arsenal vs Burnley 6 May 2018: EPL Soccer Preview and Predictions

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Arsenal will be playing at home at the Emirates Stadium in North London. The Gunners will be taking on Burnley in an important game for both sides. If Burnley wins, they will be favorites to make it to the Europa League while a win for Arsenal will see them playing European football next season.

The Gunners were eliminated from the Europa League a few days ago against Atletico Madrid and they look to bounce back strongly against Burnley. At home, the Gunners have been decent in the past few weeks and they will hope that can continue. There is tons of talented players at Arsenal and if they play together they should get the job done. This will be an important game and Arsene Wenger will look to win and leave his beloved club on a high.

On the other side of the coin, Burnley have the chance to make Europe. This is massive for the visitors and I expect a fully committed team. This game will mean more to Burnley than Arsenal and that determination will make the visitors hard to beat. I expect an organized defense and if they can keep Arsenal quiet, they have every chance of scoring against a shaky Arsenal defense.

Taking everything into consideration, I am going to predict that Burnley gets the win in this game. This is a bold prediction but recent form suggests that the visitors should win this fixture. We are getting an amazing price on this wager an due to that reason, we should make a small value bet. In addition to that, I am also a fan of the under 2.5 goals bet since I don’t see many goals in this high pressure fixture

Pick:
Burnley
