The top two in the Premier league come face to face at the Emirates on Sunday as Arsenal host Chelsea. The Gunners will try to cut the gap at the top from ten to seven and although Chelsea look nailed on to win the league Arsenal could give themselves a glimmer of hope with a win here. Arsenal come into this game in terrific form, having won thirteen of the last fifteen they are the form team in the league and the only team that looks likely to give Chelsea a real competitive title challenge right now. Giroud, Sanchez , Cazorla, Wellbeck and Ozil provide the attacking threat for Arsenal who have an abundance of attacking talent that will be charged with breaking down the best defence in the league on Sunday.
Jose Mourhino's Chelsea are missing all of the their strikers for Sunday's game with Remy, Drogba and Costa all injured at the moment. Remy is likely to be ok to start but Mourhino will definitely be looking to strengthen that area of his squad next season. Fabregas will return to the Emirates for the first time as a Chelsea player and the former Arsenal captain has been sensational for the blues this season. Alongside Fabregas in midfield Eden Hazard has been the best player in the entire league this season as the brilliant Belgian has started to underline his own ability and his own credentials for being considered among the best in Europe.
This one should be a cracking game but as with many of the big meetings between top teams I think there will be an element of defensiveness about this one. Jose Mourhino will set out his team to not be beaten and given that Arsene Wenger has never beaten Mourhino I think that Wenger's mindset about this game has to be different. Luckily for Arsenal fans I think Wenger has proven himself to be open to trying different formations and tactics, the Arsenal win in Manchester against City was a very "unArsenal" like performance but was effective. I think that Arsenal really are the better side here with Chelsea's injuries and I am going to take the Gunners to get the win.
