The new English Premier League season is about to get underway and the first game of the season is between Arsenal and Leicester City. The Foxes will want to make a statement by beating Arsenal while the North Londoners will also want three points to start of their campaign.
Arsenal will be without Alexis Sanchez who has been ruled out for the opening game of the season. This should not be a problem for the Gunners are Alex Iwobi has been in great form in preseason so he should take the Chileans place. Other than Sanchez, the remainder of the main squad looks fits so it will be interesting to see how the team plays.
On the other side of the pitch, Leicester City will look to exploit Arsenal’s weak midfield. This side has a decent squad with the likes of Jamie Vardy and Rihad Mahrez still at the club. These two players will add experience to the team and that should give them a chance. That being said, the Foxes will be away from home and that might make this match too hard for them to win.
I think betting on Arsenal to win this game is a good bet. Both sides are talented but Arsenal is probably the better team and is also at home. We are getting a good price on this bet and as a result that is my pick for this game. If you wish to bet on the number of goals, I think this will be a low scoring game. It is only the opening game of the season and as a result, both teams will be cautious.
