Arsenal will start their season against Liverpool in what will surely be the most anticipated game of the opening round of fixtures in this seasons English Premier League. Both sides have high expectations and a lot of history behind them so I am expecting a great game to kick of the season with.
Arsenal have got a massive problem and that is that all their centre backs are injured. Monreal is expected to fill in this role but I am expecting this to cause a ton of problems for the Gunners especially in this game. Liverpool are a side with fast, talented players such as Origi, Roberto Firmino and Coutinho that will test the Arsenal defence in one on one situations and that might just cause them enough problems in this match. That being said, Arsenal will be at home for this game and that will be a massive advantage for them.
Liverpool also have their own defensively issues and they will face the same problems that Arsenal will face as in the likes of Alexis Sanchez will have many one on one opportunities which may be problematic. That along with them being away from home is going to make things tough for them so I think they will lose here but with two weak defences, anything could happen so I am going to stay away from betting on the outright result.
The best bet in my opinion for this game in for both teams to score. As already mention, the two teams have defensive issues and as a result I am expecting them both to concede making this a pretty safe bet. Along with that, the over 2.5 goals is also an appealing bet.
