Arsenal vs Manchester United - 3/10/19 - English Premier League Soccer Pick, Odds, and Prediction

Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports

Manchester United are set to face Arsenal in the English Premier League. The match will be played at the Emirates Stadium so Arsenal will be the home team. This is a big match for both Arsenal and Manchester United as the winning team will be in the top 4.

Manchester United had a big win midweek as they salvaged their Champions League tie by winning 3-1 away from home against PSG. It was a determined performance by Manchester United as they had less than 30% of the ball but still managed to score 3 goals. Romelu Lukaku was the star performer for the Red Devils as he scored 2 goals. There has not been a big gap for Manchester United between their game against PSG and this match so fatigue may be a cause for concern for the Red Devils. That being said, Manchester United are playing well and will enter the Emirates Stadium full of confidence.

On the other side of the coin, Arsenal’s last game in the Premier League was against Tottenham away from home where the game finished as a 1-1 draw. It was a good performance by Arsenal as they played very well to stop a very strong Spurs side from winning at home. Arsenal have had a very strong season but this match will be crucial as it will decide whether the team will be good enough to make the Champions League next season.

Arsenal and Manchester United met earlier in the season in the Premier League where the game ended in a 2-2 draw. These two teams also met in the FA Cup where Manchester United won.

As far as this match is concerned, I am going to predict the result to be a draw. Manchester United are playing better football but Arsenal are also in good form. Arsenal have the advantage of playing at home and I see them being good enough to get a point from this fixture.
