Arsenal vs PSG - 7/28/2018 Preseason Friendly Soccer Pick, Preview, Odds, Predictions

Arsenal are starting a new era under manager Unai Emery and it will be important that the Gunners have a solid preseason to prepare for the challenging season. The fans can’t blame Arsene Wenger anymore so the team must perform. This weekend the Gunners take on PSG in a preseason friendly.

PSG will be missing all their top players as the likes of Mbappe, Neymar, and Di Maria are not back after the World Cup. That has left the French side a little light on talent although American wunderkind, Timothy Weah, scored a superb goal in the last game the team played. It will be important for PSG to have a strong preseason to determine which players they can use during the regular season. It is expected to be a long and hard 2018/2019 season for the French side as they look to win the domestic league as well as the UEFA Champions League. The owner and the manager will know that this is a great chance of the French side to win Europe’s elite club competition with the likes of Real Madrid rebuilding.

Arsenal, on the other hand, will look to get into the top 4 this season. That is the big goals for the manager and if that can be achieved, the fans and the board will be happy. The Gunners will play a much stronger side than PSG since most of Arsenal’s top players didn’t go to the World Cup and are back with the North London club. Getting some wins in preseason will be great to lift spirits and I am expecting the English team to win this game.

Arsenal should win this game simply due to the fact that they have more players back at the club. PSG are playing the second team while Arsenal will not be. That should make the difference and decide the result. Expect lots of goals in this game since both sides are stacked with attacking talent while lacking defensive solidity.
