The Emirates Stadium is going to be playing host this weekend as Arsenal are at home facing Sunderland. This game has historically been exciting and it may be the same as well this time around considering the relative forms of the two teams.
Arsenal go into this game only two points of first place and will want to apply pressure on the top teams. The Gunners have had a terrible run lately in the Premier League failing to win a match for quite some time now and Arsene Wenger will be desperate to turn it around and get 3 points. That being said this is the perfect opportunity for them to get a win since they are playing a team who are considerably worse when it comes to quality. In addition to all this, Arsenal will also have to juggle a number of different factors which include injury.
Sunderland on the other hand have been going well lately as they won their last two games. This team had a poor start to the season but things are slowly starting to fall into place and it now seems that they might have what it takes to avoid relegation this season. That being said, they will have their work cut out since Arsenal are a good team and playing away from home has not been a strength.
Arsenal go into this match as heavy favorites and the bookmakers agree with that so there is no real value in betting on that. I think that Arsenal will win this match but I don’t think that the win will be massive. Sunderland are in good form and Arsenal have big injury problems so taking Sunderland +2 may have some really good value. This game will be a good one and I think that there is some real value in it so I will be putting my money on it.
