Aston Villa vs Norwich City 02/06/2016 Premier League Preview, Odds & Predictions

A relegation six pointer from Villa Park on Saturday as Aston Villa play host to Norwich City. Norwich sit two points clear of the relegation zone but are producing relegation form havign lost their last five games. Steven Naismith was a good jnauary signing for Norwich but the scottish international needs more support from Brady, Hoolohan and Mobokani. Hoolohan tends not to start the away games as Neil goes with a more conservative side 4-5-1. The Canaries have bounced around going up and back down a couple of times in recent years and if they continue their current form they will find themselves relegated again.

Aston Villa are in a serious situation rock bottom of the league and they really dont look like a team capable of avoiding relegation at this stage. Andre Ayew's straight red midweek will mean that Villa are also without their top scorer and arguably their best player. Rudi Gestede ( if fit) should get the start and with the talent that Villa have on the wings this might actually suit the home team better. Agbonlahor will be the main man in Gestede's absence with Gil, Charles and Sinclair behind. I think that Aston Villa are in a phase of needing to be rebuilt and Remi Garde has taken on an impossible job in trying to save Villa from relegation.

This one is really difficult to call but I think Norwich are actually the better side and while it's very tough to take the Canaries on the road in this spot it is not difficult to take the +1 on the handicap. The draw is the most likely result but taking a goal headstart would be the smart play!
