Aston Villa and Norwich City are two of the teams who are really staring down to barrel when it comes down to relegation. Both teams are in real trouble and I guess winning these games are what they are relying on now to keep themselves in England’s top flight of football. This match will be played at Birmingham and the fans will flock to Villa Park in order to cheer their team on one more time in a game where victory might actually be a possibility.
Aston Villa are actually playing a little better than they were and although they got knocked out of the FA Cup to Manchester City and lost in the Premier League to West Ham their last game, they did get a point against first place Leicester City and 3 points against Crystal Palace. This will give a lot of confidence to Villa and I think they can play with it.
Norwich City on the other hand have not won a game in 2016 but surprisingly the last time they did get three points it was against Aston Villa at their home ground. This time around they are the team on the road and they will look to silence the fans in Birmingham by beating the home side. That being said, this is a tough task and in all honesty I think they will only leave with one point.
As far as betting is concerned, taking the outright result is the way to go in my opinion. The draw is paying a good price as always I think that there is value in it as well as safety so I like this investment. Also if you want to bet on the goal line, then taking over 2.5 goals is a good pick since Norwich City generally score and concede a lot of goals.
