Austria look to guarantee themselves a place in Euro 2016 on Saturday night if they can beat Moldova and Russa fail to beat Sweden. Austria have been one of the stories of the qualifiers thus far, led by Alaba of Bayern Munich and Janko and Arnautovich this is an Austria team that looks set to qualify for the European Championships for the first time ever, Austria did play in the 2008 competition as co hosts but has never qualified for the tournament off their own steam. Austria have been excellent this campaign and they truely deserve to be where they are right now and this is a fairytale that should come through for the Austrian fans as I think that Austria will wrap up qualification with a win tonight.
Moldova are one of those tough teams to play against and the first game between the two was a really good game that Austria just about shaded to win 2-1. Moldvoa will give a good account of themselves here and I think they will come to Austria and play a defensive system and try to hold Austria. I cant see Moldova coming out and trying to play expansive football here as they know they are outmatched skills wise. Moldova though are very well organised and will definitely be tough to break down and I think this will be a tight tense game.
I am going to take the unders here, I think Austria will probably sneak it 1-0 or 2-0 but I cant see many goals in this one tonight. Austria and Daniel Alaba should just have enough to win but I think this will as I said before be a tight tense affair.
