Portugal will look to overcome a disappointing draw against Iceland by beating Austria in the second game of the Euro 2016 tournament. Both teams are seriously under the pump and as a result the pressure will be on. I think the loser of this match is all but gone so there will a lot of fight from both sides.
Portugal were not poor against Iceland but they lacked the added flair. Ronaldo was average and their defense was problematic at times. This time around I would expect a better performance from CR7 as he is the man they all look up to in the Portuguese set up. If he fails again there could be trouble for a team that is already under pressure.
That being said, Austria were shockingly poor in their opening game. This team didn’t even fight against Hungary and the likes of David Alaba failed. This time around the Austrian side needs to work better as a unit and if they do so then they are a chance against Portugal.
Overall I think Portugal are going to win this game but I think the odds we are getting are too short. The best option for this game in my opinion is the goal line. Both teams are great going forward and with the likes of Ronaldo and Nani, I am expecting a lot of goals. The over 2.5 goals is looking very good and we are getting an amazing price for it as well. In addition to that, both teams to score is also a good bet since Portugal have a habit of failing to keep clean sheets.
