Barcelona vs Guangzhou Evergrande FC 17 Dec 2015: Club World Cup Preview and Predictions

The Club World Cup is one of those competitions that everyone simply forgets about. That being said we have reached the semi-finals of this competition and Barcelona will be in action against Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande FC. This tournament is running in Japan this year and while this may not be the best match since the two sides are of different classes, this will be a chance for the Japanese public to see Messi and his superstar teammates in action.

Barcelona go into this match failing to win their previous two matches. This is something which doesn’t happen often and I am sure that the Barcelona players will want to turn this around. Barcelona have the best attacking three in the world at the moment and they link up very well so I am expecting a lot of goals in this match. The over 2.5 goals line is not paying well at all so that is not the best bet. I think we need to look a little deeper here and look at the 3.5 goal line. Both teams have great attacking prowess and a 4-0, 3-1, or 5-2 result is very likely in my opinion. I think that betting on over 3.5 goals is a good bet. It may seem risky from a distance but I think there is good value since Barcelona at their best will score a lot more than 4 goals. If we want to get a little but more creative, we can make a multi with over 3.5 goals and Barcelona to win which is paying better. I don’t see Barcelona not winning and this is simply adding value without adding risk.

If we are looking at the outright result line than there in no value unless we take a handicap. The handicap is set at 2 goals and I think that Barcelona will beat this considering how good they are. This is paying at 1.95 which is good enough value. I think this might be the best bet in this match.

Barcelona -2 & Over 3.5 Goals
