In Germany, Borussia Dortmund will travel to Munich where they will face Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena.

Borussia Dortmund played midweek in the Champions League in a match where they defeated Inter Milan 3-2 at home. It was a poor start to the contest for Borussia Dortmund as they were trailing 2-0 but the team showed great determination to fight back strongly and win the contest 3-2. Achraf Hakimi was outstanding as he scored 2 goals during the win against Inter Milan. It has been a strong season for Borussia Dortmund as they are 2nd on the Bundesliga ladder and in a good position to challenge for the domestic league title.

On the other side of the coin, Bayern Munich have struggled this season. As it currently stands, Bayern Munich are 4th on the ladder and 4 points behind Borussia Dortmund. Bayern Munich have already changed their manager and things are not looking good for the club. That being said, Bayern Munich managed to win midweek in the Champions League against Olympiacos. It was a 2-0 victory for Bayern Munich with goals from Robert Lewandowski and Ivan Perisic. It was a comfortable win for Bayern Munich as they controlled 70% of the possession and 27 shots. This is expected to be a much tougher match for Bayern Munich since Borussia Dortmund are a much stronger side when compared to Olympiacos.

Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich have a strong rivalry as these two sides are considered to be the best in Germany. Bayern Munich have a strong advantage as they are playing at home but I see Borussia Dortmund being in better form. I am going to predict to end in a draw. Borussia Dortmund look to be the stronger side but I don’t see them having enough to win away from home at the Allianz Arena. A draw seems like a good result for both teams.
