Euro Cup Qualifications

Belgium is welcoming Kazakhstan in round 3 of Euro Cup qualifications.

Belgium is offensive firepower and one of the best teams in Europe. Belgium is playing super enjoyable soccer with lots of fast and short passes and is rarely forced to defend, instead they pressure their opponents high and strong when not in possession of the ball. Belgium is in a group with Russia, Kazakhstan, Cyprus, Scotland and San Marino and will probably win this group and get qualified to the Euro Cup. In their last 2 games Belgium has scored 5 goals while in their last game against Cyprus, Belgium was absolutely dominant with 61% of ball possession, 6 shots on goal, 4 corner kicks and 86% of correct passes and has won this match 2-0. Eden Hazard is Belgium’s captain and the best player who will sign with Real Madrid in a transfer worth 100 million Euros. Roberto Martinez has done amazing work with this team since he was signed in 2016., but his contract is expiring next year and it will be hard to keep him because pretty much every big soccer club is interested in his services. Belgium is playing fantastic soccer, maybe the best in Europe and with that being said, Belgium is in top 3 favorites to win next years Euro Cup and if they stay healthy, they will be the force to reckon with.

Kazakhstan is a plain and simple one of the worst teams in Europe. Awful game style, ineffective offense, and terrible defense. Kazakhstan is ranked as a 116th team in FIFA standings and is not showing any signs of improvement despite signing Michail Bilek as a new head coach in January of this year. Kazakhstan’s best player is Evgeny Postnikov who is playing for Kazakhstan’s best club, Astana. In their last game against Russia, Kazakhstan was absolutely terrible with only 37% of ball possession, 2 shots on goal, 2 corner kicks and only 72% of correct passes and has lost this game 0-4. Kazakhstan’s chances of qualifying to Euro Cup are almost zero because Russia and Scotland who are their main competitors are much better teams with more experience and better game styles. Kazakhstan is a huge country and one would think how hard can it be to get 20 good soccer players, but if soccer association doesn’t invest in youth development and soccer in general, it’s hard. Kazakhstan has never played any major soccer competition and will most likely never play, at least not in a while unless Kazakhstan soccer association make a sharp turn and decides to start investing and maybe bring a foreign coach with more experience.

Belgium is one of the best offensive teams in the world which they demonstrated against Russia, and their team is healthy and ready to play in front of their fans. The price of Belgium is super steep and for that reason, I’m going to pick first half handicap

Pick:
First Half: Belgium -1.5 (-105)

Being from Croatia I was raised with soccer all around me and I loved to watch and play soccer ever since i was little kid, especially after Croatia won third place in 1998 World Cup in France. I watch and follow soccer on a daily basis and to get the oppurtunity to write about it is amazing.
