Monday night action from the Championship here will see Blackburn Rovers host Nottinham Forrest at Ewood Park with both teams coming into the game in good form. This one should be a cracker, we have a Blackburn team that is unbeaten in their last seven and are only four points from the playoff spots. Paul Lambert has done a good job since taking over and Blackburn have found a way to win without scoring many goals. Jordan Rhodes is their star man up front he has nine goals in eighteen appearances this season and will need to continue his strong form if Blackburn are to continue to rise up the league table. Promotion is definitely on their radar but this is a tricky game .
Nottingham Forrest come into this game off the back of a good run of form with three wins in their last five and just one defeat. The Forrest also picked up point on the road at the weekend which was a relief as Forrest had lost four away games in a row. The Championship is always tricky and only three points seperate these two. Forrest have a talented young squad lef by a young manager in Dougie Freedman. Goals have been a problem here for both teams with just twenty goals scored in twenty games.
I think this has draw written all over it. While Blackburn are favoured because they are at home Rovers have struggled to put teams away and with nine draws in twenty games it's obvious that the problem has been finishing games. I think the Draw here is definitely the value play here and this game should be well worth watching.
