A really intriguing game here as we have two of the better teams in Europe squaring off in a must win match. Borussia Dortmund are in trouble in the Group having surprisingly lost to Arsenal in the last round of Group fixtures. Jurgen Klopp' men have been struggling since that loss with lack of form and injuries having picked up a couple of injuries in the Interational week Borussia Dortmund took a bad beating against great rivals Bayern Munich last weekend. That makes in three loss' in a row and this week is a pivotal week for the team. Currently lying third in the group anything less that a win against Napoli will leave Borussia Dortmund relying on other results to help them get through. This is obviously a very talented group of players with Robert Lewandowski, Marco Reus, Aubeymayang, Mkhitarayan but Borussia Dortmund at the back are currently missing Subutic and Hummels and it is really here that Borussia Dortmund will have the biggest problems facing a potent Napoli attack.
On the other hand Borussia Dortmund will face a Napoli side who have been misfiring of late having lost their last two game away to Juventus and at home to Parma which was a big shock. Rafa Benitez's side have been impressive this year and with Callejon, Higuain and Hamsik they have three quality goalscorers. Napoli's defence though impressive at times have really struglled away from home and have only had one clean sheet in their last ten away games. Benitez's team's over the years have always been known for their strong defence's but he's only been in charge this year and hasnt had the time to change his defence here at Napoli. But what Benitez has done is encouraged his players to play an open free flwoing game which uses their strengths up front and on the wings. Hamsik in particular has been excellant and it wont be long until the bigger clubs in Europe come looking for the young man.
A really tough Group see's Arsenal, Dortmund, Napoli vying for two spots with two games to go, Napoli have the added bonus of knowing win or lose tonight they still have a home game with Arsenal to go and lots or permutations that mean they could still qualify. But with that said Napoli will not want to lose tonight. I'm going to take the overs tonight, I just see a team struggling to defend in Borussia Dortmund facing a Napoli side who have a hard time keeping a cleansheet away from home and two potent offences. I really like the over here. Follow me on [email protected]
