Bournemouth managed to stop a run of losses last week when they held Swansea to a 2-2 draw at the Liberty Stadium, Eddie Howe's side will now look for a win against a high flying Everton team who put four past Aston Villa last weekend. Bournemouth have had sime injury problems and scoring goals has been a real problem for the newly promoted side who have managed just three goals in their last five games. With Gradel, Wilson out it will be up to Glenn Murray, Ritchie and King to provide the goals for the Cherries. The Vitality stadium will be packed and this should be an entertaining game with Everton playing a similar brand of football and in great form right now.
Lukaku looks to continue his strong form having scored nine on the season and four in his last three appearances. With Roberto Martinez looking to Barkley, Mccarthy , Kone and Lukaku this Everton side have really improved of late and have won three of their last four in all competitions. The Toffee's are making a positive move up the table and are only six points off a Champions League spot. Everton have also been terrific away from home this season losing just once to Arsenal while winning three and drawing three.
Tough game to handicap here for me though Everton have been in such great form of late and come into this game with two of the hottest players in the league in Barkley and Lukaku that I am going to take Everton to get the win at 6/4. I do think Bournemouth have improved but I think their lack of a real out and out goalscorer up front needs to be addressed in January or the Cherries could find themselves on the way back down to the Championship.
