After being unceremoniously dumped out of the Champions League midweek Manchester United will travel to the Vitality stadium to take on a resurgent Bournemouth who are unbeaten in their last three and who beat Chelsea last time out. Bournemouth need to pick up points and they are battling hard, working hard and look like a team who believe that they can avod the drop. Eddie Howe's side have played with a new confidence over the last three games. An incredible come back agaisnt Everton was followed up with a win against Chelsea and suddenly Bournemouth were out of the relegation zone. Glen Murray scored the winner last week and the former Crystal Palace striker will be key if Bournemouth are going to stay up this season.
Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal will feel the heat after his side failed to qualify from what was perceived as an easy Champions League group. The loss on Tuesday was not the root cause for Manchester United but rather the end result fo a poor campaign where the Red Devils failed to beat CSKA in Moscow and picked up only one point against PSV. That is not Champions League quality results. The trouble for Van Gaal now is that his side must pick themselves up here in a tough game against a team battling for their life. Martial, Mata, Depay will look to lead United as Rooney is missing through injury. This is a huge game for United a must win for a team and a manager in need of both a big performance and a result.
Instead of going with the unders as everyone and their mother is I'm going to take the overs here, I think if United play with Martial, Depay they will have the pace to trouble a Bournemouth team who have been terrible at the back. I see this being a 2-1 or 3-1 type of game rather than the 0-0 everyone else is predicting. Take the overs here
