Manchester City will face Brighton away from home in the final round of the English Premier League.
It is a simple situation for Manchester City. If Manchester City win this match, they win the title. If they fail to win, it allows Liverpool to overtake them and life the trophy. With such a long season, Manchester City will be desperate to finish on a high. In their previous match, Manchester City faced Leicester City at home. The Sky Blues dominated much of the game but failed to score until late in the second half. Vincent Kompany produced a wonderful goal for Manchester City. Manchester City have won their last 13 Premier League games and the team will be confident in their ability to win this fixture and the title.

On the other side of the coin, Brighton received good news last weekend as Cardiff City lost which ensured survival in the Premier League. It has been a very poor season for Brighton and the team has only managed 9 wins in the entire season. Brighton drew against Arsenal in their previous match and the result was greatly due to a poor Arsenal performance rather than a strong Brighton performance.

Brighton and Manchester City played earlier in the season at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester. Manchester City won 2-0. These two teams also met in the semifinal of the FA Cup where Manchester City won 1-0. The FA Cup fixture between Manchester City and Brighton was played at Wembley.

Brighton have not had a good season and with everything settled, it is hard to see the home side having enough to challenge the Sky Blues. Manchester City have been outstanding and the team will be high on confidence having won their last 13 fixtures. Manchester City are the stronger side and I see them winning this match and retaining their Premier League title.

Pick:
Manchester City
