Manchester United started their Premier League season in style as they beat Leicester City at home on opening day. The Red Devils will now travel to Brighton where they will play away from home at the Amex. Both teams will want to do well in this fixture so that should ensure that we get a great game of football.
Manchester United’s win over Leicester City was impressive because the likes of Luke Shaw and Paul Pogba played well. These two players had issues with the manager and the club but that win seems to have ended the civil war that was taking place at Manchester United. The ford of Alexis Sanchez is a cause for concern for Manchester United and the Chilean superstar is looking very poor. This is something that the manager will need to look at since they will want their top players playing well as the season progresses. The defense looked solid for Manchester United with the likes of Eric Bailly playing very well. Things are looking good for the Red Devils and they will hope that continues this weekend at Brighton.
As far as the home team is concerned, they will look to get a result against Manchester United. This will not be an easy match for Brighton but they have shown before that they can defend well and they will look to show that in this fixture. Brighton lost their first game last weekend and they are looking at 0 points after 2 games. This is not a great situation but it is hard to see any other scenario.
Even away from home, Manchester United should win. The Red Devils are the better side and I think they will be more than good enough to get all 3 points. We are not getting the worst price on Manchester United winning so betting on the outright result seems like the best play.
