Another quality club friendly will see Spanish side Villareal take on Brisbane Roar at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane. Villareal scored a last minute winner against Adelaide at the weekend with the excellent Vietto and Martino scoring late in the second half to steal a victory. Villareal fans will have been happy to see Vietto on display as the Argentine is rumoured to be n his way to one of the bigger Spanish sides in the summer. This is a good hardworking side tough to beat and they will put in another display on Wednesday no matter what eleven are on the field.
Brisbane havent played a competitive game since the start of may and will be under pressure against a very competitive Villareal team. Brisbane will look to top scorers Silva and Solorzano to lead the threat against the Spanish side. While I dont see Brisbane winning this one all the AFL teams have been competitive in their recent friendly games and I think this game will be no exception. I'm going to take Brisbane +2 on the handicap as I see the home side as being one that score here against a Villareal team that are talented but defensively not the best.
Taking Brisbane +2 but as with almost all friendlies this just a small bet for interest.
