Chelsea vs Bournemouth 26 Dec 2016: EPL Preview and Predictions

Chelsea are top of the table heading into the New Years and it will remain that way as they play host to Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge on Boxing Day. This is a special footballing day for all players in the Premier League and the league leaders will hope that they can end their year on a high by winning this match and extending their lead at the top of the table.

Bournemouth did extremely well last season to stay up in the Premier League considering the side they have and this season the task that they have at hand will be exactly the same. This side relies heavily on their home fans and they will have them this week so as far as results are concerned, its not looking very good.

On the other side of the coin, Conte has developed his team in amazing fashion where the defense is solid and the attack is playing some amazingly beautiful and exciting football. This side seems to be the real deal and with only the Premier League to worry about, it will be hard to stop them. They should win this game pretty easily considering that they are by far the better side and are also at home.

As far as betting is concerned, it is not wise to bet on Chelsea to win this game since the price we are getting on this wager simply makes it pointless. That being said, this should be a high scoring game with Chelsea attacking well this season and a 3-0 or 4-0 win to the Blues is pretty likely. As a result I think taking the over 2.5 goals bet is pretty safe. Furthermore, I think that both teams not to score is also a good wager since I don’t see Bournemouth breaking down the Chelsea backline.
