The late evening game on Saturday comes from Stamford Bridge, London as the home team Chelsea look to get another in under their belts against Newcastle United. Gus Hiddink's side stole a point last weekend against Manchester United as they seemed beaten only to snatch a late draw with a Diego Costa goal in injury time. Costa, Oscar and Hazard will again be key for Chelsea as they look to break down one of the worst defences in the Premier League. Chelsea's squad have been found wanting against the bigger sides earlier in the season well actually they were found wanting against pretty much everyone but they are still unbeaten under Hiddink and will look to continue that run on Saturday.
Newcastle have a lost six of their last nine games in all competitions and Steve Mclarens side are in real danger of relegation this season. Last weeks win over West Brom was massive for the club though and if they can continue to pick up important results like that then they have a chance. I am sure McLaren will look at this game as one they are not supposed to get anything from so if they do pick up anything it will be a bonus. Wijnaldum has been the magpies player of the year so far and he will be keen to continue to impress against the Champions after his summer move the young midfielder has done nothing but enhance his reputation and if Newcastle go down there will be many suitors for his talents.
Cant see this any other way than a comfortable Chelsea win, straight up there is no value though at 4/9, instead I am going to take Chelsea -1 on the hanidap. While still a little tight I think Chelsea should comfortably cover it and move themselves closer to a top half finish while possibly sending Newcastle back into the relegation zone.
