Chelsea are back in action this week and Stamford Bridge will see the home team play against Norwich City. In the past few year, you would give Norwich no chance but with the way that Chelsea has been playing I don’t think that any result is certain.
On paper Chelsea are the much better side. This team is filled with big names such as Hazzard, Costa and Oscar who should lead any team in the world to victory. That being said, Chelsea sit just one spot above the relegation zone and have been losing games on a regular basis. Mourinho is hanging on for dear life and things have just been getting worse for Chelsea. This game is a chance for them to turn a new leaf and get back to winning ways but they will need to play a lot better than they have been in the earlier stages of the season.
Norwich City on the other hand are doing as they were expected to do at the start of the season. They are above the relegation zone but not by a lot. They will come to Stamford Bridge with the knowledge that Chelsea have been poor and perhaps that they might be able to get something from this match. Having said that, this team is not a very good one so another Chelsea defeat is unlikely.
Overall I think that Chelsea will win this game and will win it convincingly. They have been shocking this season but this is not a game that they will lose, they are simply too good for that. Betting on the outright result has no value due to Chelsea having amazing odds but the value in this game comes from betting on the goal line. Chelsea and Norwich City have both been defensively poor and I expect more than 2.5 goals to be scored easily. I also think that both teams to score may also be a good bet since Chelsea have struggled to keep a clean sheet this season.
