Chelsea vs Roma 18 October 2017: UCL Preview and Prediction

Chelsea take on Roma in what should be a great game in the UEFA Champions League. The game will take place at Stamford Bridge meaning that Chelsea will be the home side for this game. A win in this game will be important for both teams so I am expecting a strong and interesting game.

Chelsea had an embarrassing loss to Crystal Palace on the weekend and the West London side will want to bounce back quickly from that. This team is missing a lot of players due to injury and they will need to deal with that if they are to beat Roma this week. The defense is still looking solid and that is something that will encourage the Blues. Morata should also be back for this game but they might be still missing Kante who is a critical part of the side.

Roma are looking in good form and the side will want to get a win here since it will give them a massive boost in regards to getting to the next stage of the tournament and also in regards to winning this group. Roma are well balanced and the side looks in good form so I think they have what it takes to get a point in London.

While Chelsea are at home, judging by form, I don’t see them winning. I am going to predict that this game ends in a draw and that is the best bet in my opinion. In addition to that, I am going to also predict the under 2.5 goals which might get home since this is a big game and both sides will want to defend.
