Colombia vs Brazil 5 September 2017: World Cup Qualifiers Preview and Predictions

Soccer | International

Colombia takes on Brazil in what should be a great game of football between two of the best teams in the world. While it is unlikely that either team will not make it to the World Cup, a win here will still make for a lot.

Colombia will be at home for this game and that is a huge advantage, especially in South America. This team is missing many of their top players as a result of injury meaning that they will not be at full strength. That being said, this team still has many talented players with the likes of Carlos Bacca and Radamel Falcao still on the team.

Brazil, on the other hand, is turning into one of the best teams in the world once again. There is a lot of history with this team and now this current generation is turning up the heat. A few years ago, this side was just Neymar but now the world’s most expensive player is backed with the likes of Coutinho, Gabriel Jesus, Dani Alves and many others. This is a very complete team and at the moment it is hard to find any weakness so they will have every chance possible of winning this game.

All in all, I think that Brazil will win this game. While it is not normally wise to bet on the away side in South America, it is hard to not see Brazil winning this game with the conditions of the two teams. As far as goals are concerned, I think we are going to get a high scoring game so over 2.5 goals is another bet in my opinion.
