One of the interesting games of the weekend will see Aston Villa travel to Sehurst Park to take on a Crystal Palace side who were desperately unlucky to lose to Arsenal last weekend. Crystal Palace look to have been one of the big winners of this transfer window getting solid signing's like Cabaye through the gate and Alan Pardew kept hold of his star man Bolasie WIth Wilfred Zaha starting to perform like the player Manchester United invested in three years ago this is a quality side and Pardew has to be applauded for what he has done in such a short period of time. Crystal Palace look to me to be one of the most improved sides in the league and one that could possibly challenge the top six in the league if they can continue to play at the high level they are performing at right now.
Aston Villa followed up an opening weekend win at Bournemouth with a toothless display at home against Manchester United, Villa werent so much bad as they just looked like a team that was never going to score. The loss of Christian Benteke has not been addressed yet and while Jordan Ayew and Rudi Gestede will score some goals I dont think they will be as effective as Benteke was, Gabby Agbonlahor has a huge amount of respinsibility on his shoulders but I think the striker can handle it as one of Villa's elder players. Tim Sherwood seems to have a good way about himself but I'm not sure there is much he can do unless Villa's owners invest in the squad.
One of my bets of the weekend here I am taking Crystal Palace at the ridiculously outstanding price of 17/20 to win here, home team , strong squad and playing the better football it just all works out for me here. Take Palace to get the win.
