Crystal Palace look to bounch back from a disappointing home loss to Sunderland in a game that Palace dominated. Alan Pardew will have to face his old side Newcastle and since taking over as Crystal Palace boss Pardew has yet to taste victory, or defeat. with the only meeting a 1-1 draw in Selhurst Park. Bolasie, Zaha, Puncheon and Wickham had enough chances to win two games on Monday night and if Palace dont take their chances they are again to struggle. Crystal Palace have a talented side and while they were flying early in the season they are going through a rough patch right now have lost four of their last six and are definitely in the underperforming category right now.
Newcastle United come into this game in need of a win, have won just twice this season and have lost four of their six away games. The game they did win against Bournemouth was one they robbed, where Perez netted completely against the run of play and the Magpies defence held out through a barrage of attacks from the home team. Perez, Mitrovic and Wijnaldum have provided an attacking spark for Steve McLaren's side all season but it's a tough ask for them to continue to carry the side. Simply Newcastle need more goals in their side where ever they are to get them from.
While I think Crystal Palace have the better squad here I do think they are currently not playing very well and I'm reluctant to take them at 7/10 as the price seems too short for me. Instead I am going to take the unders here. Both teams are struggling for goals and I think this one may be a 1-0 or 2-0 to the home side but either way the unders shoud come in for us.
