Crystal Palace have an opportunity to go into the top four on Monday when they host Swansea City at Selhurst Park, Tottenham currently sit in fourth and are two points ahead of Crystal Palace but Tottenham are away to a red hot Watford and Palace have this opportunity at home agaisnt a struggling and managerless Swansea. Crystal Palace have some injuries that they picked up over the last couple of weeks and it is a problem with Bolasie and Wickham possibly missing out. But Alan Pardew has done a spectacular job in tactically preparing for each game this year and Palace have been very very tough to beat. This is a real opportunity and with Zaha , Gayle, Puncheon there is enough attakcing talent here to cause some problems for Swansea's defence.
Swansea finally won a game last Saturday, as predicted here. The Swans though struggled to put the game away and they really are in need of a goalscring forward. Andre Ayew and Gomis had a good start to the season but a lack of form and struggles putting the ball in the net have hurt Swansea. Sigurddson and Shelvey are also having a decent season in midfield though and this is a team that on their day can definitely play. Defensively Swansea have actually done ok only conceding twenty four goals so far, best among the bottom half teams. The problems though have been up front where Swansea have only scored sixteen goals second least in the league.
Interesting match up here. I'm going to take Crystal Palace to get the win, I think the Eagles are flying under Alan Pardew and I fancy them to get the win here.
