With fourth placed Tottenham Hotspur traveling to Selhurst Park to take on eight placed Crystal Palace in what should be one of the games of the weekend in the Premier League. Manuel Pochettino's Tottenham are sitting in fourth but they are aware of the teams (Manchester United) closing in on them and any slip up here will probably be exploited. Harry Kane, Christian Erikson, Lamela and Dembele have been excellent this season, Dembele in particular has turned around his Tottenham career and is now one of the most important midfielders in the club. With Lloris at the back behind Vertonghen and the brilliant Alderweireld this is a great defence, second best in the league and they will take some breaking down.
Crystal Palace are going through a rough period at the moment having lost three of the last four. Alan Pardew's side have struggled for goals this season with all their strikers scoring just one goal among the six strikers so far this season and none from open play. Cabaye and Bolasie are the key men as regards scoring goals with five and four respectively. Bolasie though is struggling with injury at the moment and Pardew will turn to Zaha, Puncheon and the aforementioned Cabaye. Defensively though Palace are tough to break down themselves and while Tottenham are deserved favourites here I'm just not sure they will be able to get all three points at Selhurst Park.
Instead I'm going to take the draw here. These are two pretty well matched teams, If Tottenham get an early goal I would worry about Palace's ability to chase the game but I think more than likely we see a 0-0 or 1-1 here.
