Czech Republic is hosting Brazil in an International friendly match.

Czech are a pretty good team with combination on older experienced players like Skoda, Kudela and Selassie and young and talented players like Schick, Jankto and Kral. In their last game against England , the Czechs got demolished 5-0 in a game where they had only 34% ball possession, 2 shots and very low 75% of correct passes. In Euro Cup qualifications, the Czechs are in a group with England, Bulgaria, Kosovo and Montenegro and will be really difficult for them to win one of the top two spots that lead to Euro Cup next year. Because this is a friendly game coach Silhavy is expected to mix up his roster little bit and give a chance to some young and upcoming players but also to keep game competitive because it’s not often that Czechs are playing against once of the top teams in the world like Brazil.

Brazil is currently ranked as number three in FIFA standings but are not showing us that they deserve that spot because Brazil is not playing good soccer like they used to. In their last game against weak Panama, Brazil was dominating with 59% ball possession, 4 shots on goal and 12 corner kicks but were able to score only 1 goal and game ended up in a 1-1 draw. Brazil’s roster is filled with superstars that are playing in some of the biggest clubs in the world so it’s hard to single out best player but if I had to pick I would choose Firmino who is playing in great form and is in my opinion one of the most important players in Liverpool. This is last game for Brazil before Copa America starts in June so I expect from coach Tite to put out his strongest lineup because they need as many games as possible to get into good form. Brazil hasn’t lost any of their last 7 games but their biggest problem is inefficiency in the attacking part of the game because they scored only 1 goal in each of their last 4 games.

Brazil is much better team and I don’t see Czech Republic being a threat to them in this match so I will pick Brazil and something on goals.

Brazil and Over: 2.5 Goals

Being from Croatia I was raised with soccer all around me and I loved to watch and play soccer ever since i was little kid, especially after Croatia won third place in 1998 World Cup in France. I watch and follow soccer on a daily basis and to get the oppurtunity to write about it is amazing.
