One of the best match ups of the International games this weekend will see the Czech Republic host Turkey in Prague with both teams needing to pick up points. Turkey are just two points ahead of the Netherlands in the race for the last playoff spot and while the Czech Republic have already qualified they will be looking to win the Group to get a better seeding in the main competition. This is a tough game for the Czech Republic though and captain Petr Cech of Arsenal will know that his side need to stay focused as their opponents on Saturday have so much more to play for.
Turkey simply know they must match the Netherlands results in the final two games to guarantee themselves a place in the Euro's. With games against two teams that have already qualified it could be argued that Turkey couldnt have asked for two nicer games as they have so much more to play for than their opponents. Star man Ardura Turan of Barcelona will be the key figure as he looks to create the openings for Yilmaz and Calhanoglu up front, two strikers who are in good form domestically. Turkey put in a huge performance at home against the Netherlands and if they can repeat that stadard of performance here against the Czech Republic they could well come away from Prague with a win.
This one should be one of the games of the weekend on paper but I am not sure it will play out like that. I think the draw is a solid play here, I think that Turkey would take a point here knowing that a win at home against Iceland would be enough to guarantee their place in the playoffs and I think the Czech Republic would be happy enough to come away from this tough game with a point as well. Not a big play here but definitely value in the price.
