The D.C. United and FC Dallas square off early Saturday afternoon at the RFK Stadium.

The D.C. United are still looking for their first victory after a rough 0-1-2 start to the season. D.C. United has scored just one goal in its last two matches and doesn’t have a single assist in three matches. D.C. United has been a solid defensive team out of the gate but has to find something going offensively in order to get that first and important victory. Fabián Espíndola leads DC with one goal, Lamar Neagle has seven shots and Nick DeLeon has seven shots. Defensively, Travis Worra has come away with three saves on four shots faced. The D.C. United have come away with points in seven of their last eight regular season home games.

The FC Dallas are off to a solid 2-1-0 start thanks to a defense that’s produced two shutouts already. FC Dallas is allowing an average of three shots on goal per match and has allowed one or less goals in seven of their last eight matches. FC Dallas is making a strong early statement to the rest of the Western Conference. Maximiliano Urruti leads Dallas with two goals, Mauro Diaz has two assists and Fabian Castillo has eight shots. Defensively, Jesse Gonzalez has come away with five saves on nine shots faced. The FC Dallas have lost four of their last seven regular season road games.

The last five meetings between these two teams has produced a 2-2-1 record. FC Dallas beat D.C. United 2-1 in the last meeting back in July. The last four meetings has produced at least three goals.

These teams have been even in their past matches and a lot of the matches could have gone either way. When you add in Dallas’ defense, I think this game has a good chance to be a draw.
