The DC United and Vancouver Whitecaps square off Saturday afternoon at RFK Stadium.

The DC United are still looking for their first victory after a shaky 0-2-3 start to the season. The struggles for DC United start on the offensive end where they’ve scored just two goals in their last four matches. It’s been a frustrating start to say the least for DC United, a team that usually has very high expectations. Of course, a win here would help the Black and Red feel a little better about where they’re at in this young season. Lamar Neagle leads DC with one goal, Chris Rolfe has one assist and Fabián Espíndola has 19 shots. Defensively, Travis Worra has come away with 10 saves on 15 shots faced. The DC United have come away with points in six of their last nine regular season home games.

The Vancouver Whitecaps are off to a solid 2-2-1 start that has them in the thick of the Western Conference. The Whitecaps are getting it done on the defensive end, pitching shutouts in their last two matches and allowing no more than two goals in four straight. The Whitecaps have to be a confident bunch with this strong start to the season as they hope to make the playoffs for a third straight year. Offensively, Pedro Morales leads Vancouver with four goals, Christian Bolaños has one assist and Octavio Rivero has 15 shots. Defensively, David Ousted has come away with 18 saves on 25 shots faced. The Vancouver Whitecaps have lost four of their last six regular season road games.

The last five matches between these two teams is 2-1-2 in favor of the Vancouver Whitecaps. However, DC United did beat Vancouver back in April of last year, 2-1. Three of the last four matches between these teams has produced one or less goals.

DC United continues to struggle on the offensive end, Vancouver is solid defensively and two of the last four matches between these two teams have resulted in a draw.

It may sound too easy, but I like the draw at this price.

Draw +205
