One of the games of the day in Serie A will be between Empoli and Genoa. Both teams are unbeaten in five and both will fancy their chances of getting victory on Sunday. Empoli have gotten themselves out of the relegation zone with a strong run of recent form and will look to stay out with a win on Sunday which would take them to 32 points and close to safety. Maccaraone and Pucciarelli are the key men up front for Empoli and they will look to take advantage of their strong recent home form when Genoa visit.
Genoa have been terrific of late winning three of their last four. Falque is their star man up front but he only has six goals this season and the lack of goals in the team is hurting Genoa's push for European football. Genoa signed Niang in the January window and the former Milan striker is going to be key if Genoa are going to get European football. Genoa have been really tough to beat the last five weeks and they will come into this game tomorrow confident.
While Empoli have been in good form I like Genoa here. I think the 5/2 available for Genoa is value and I'm going to take the away team here.
