Championship action returns this week with a full fixture list being played across Tuesday and Wednesday. The games come thick and fast in the second tier at this time of year, so let’s see if we can take advantage of the situation by looking at the best bets for Round 32.

Blackburn Rovers vs. Hull City – 2/11/20

Blackburn welcome Hull to Ewood Park on Tuesday for an important mid-table battle. Rovers are currently twelfth with 44 points, with Hull four points behind Blackburn in fourteenth. Neither side has won either of the last two games, and Hull are without a win in five following four draws and a defeat. I think we’ll see a fairly open game here as both teams look to get back to winning ways. For that reason, both teams to score is the best bet for this matchup. Seven of Blackburn’s previous nine games have seen both teams score, while both teams have scored in Hull’s previous four.

Pick: Both Teams to Score – 1.80

Millwall vs. Fulham – 2/12/20

Millwall will be looking to keep their play-off hopes alive and dent Fulham’s automatic promotion bid. The Lions are without a win in three but remain tenth following some decent results in recent months. On the other hand, Fulham are ten points ahead of Millwall in third. Fulham have won four of their previous five league games but only one of those games produced over 2.5 goals. Millwall have also struggled for goals of late but their defense has been fairly solid. I don’t think we’ll see too many goals when the two teams meet on Wednesday.

Pick: Under 2.5 Goals – 1.60

Stoke City vs. Preston North End – 2/12/20

I think the bookies have got this one wrong. Stoke are the favorites at 2.00 here but the Potters sit a whopping 16 points behind Preston in the Championship standings. Stoke have picked up some promising results recently but still find themselves just above the relegation zone. By contrast, Preston have won four of their last five and sit just inside the play-off places. Stoke’s home advantage may give them a slight edge on Wednesday, but I don’t think it will be enough to see the Potters avoid defeat. The Preston win at 3.60 is a very attractive price.

Pick: Preston North End to Win – 3.60

The pick in this article is the opinion of the writer, not a Sports Chat Place site consensus.
