Everton vs Leicester City: Everton were beaten in their previous game as they lost to Brighton away from home. The Toffees have been in terrible form and have failed to make any progress over the past month. Similarly, Leicester City also had a very poor result in their last game as the Foxes lost at home to Cardiff City. Both teams lost winnable games and the main reason are the attacks. Neither side can score goals and with such a poor group of strikers, I see this match ending as a 0-0 draw.
Arsenal vs Fulham: Arsenal were beaten badly over the weekend as they lost to Liverpool. It was a very poor defensive performance by Arsenal as they failed to prevent the strong Liverpool attack from scoring freely. Fulham, on the other hand, managed to beat Huddersfield to keep their survival dreams alive. Looking at these two sides, Arsenal are far stronger and have been playing much better football. With this game at the Emirates, I am picking Arsenal to bounce back and win this match.
Wolves vs Crystal Palace: Crystal Palace lost at home over the weekend as they were narrowly beaten by Chelsea. Palace have been playing decent football and having beaten Manchester City recently, the team looks to be high on confidence. The defence has been really strong while Zaha and Townsend are playing extremely well as strikers. Similarly, Wolves have also been very good recently as they beat Tottenham in their previous fixture. Both of these teams are playing very well but with the home ground advantage on their side, I am picking Wolves to win at home.
Bournemouth vs Watford: Watford had a poor outing over the weekend as the Hornets failed to win against a struggling Newcastle United side. The most disappointing aspect for Watford was their ability to not convert chances as they were the better team. On the other side of the pitch, Bournemouth have had two big losses but it is important to note that they were against Tottenham and Manchester United. Neither side is playing well enough to win so I am going to pick this game to end as a draw.
Huddersfield vs Burnley: Huddersfield lost another game over the weekend as they were beaten by Fulham. Huddersfield have lost most of their recent games and they are starting to prove costly as they have been losing to their relegation rivals. Huddersfield are bottom of the ladder and 4 points below the team above them. This is a must-win game for Huddersfield for that reason. Burnley, on the other hand, won against West Ham in their last fixture. Burnley have been struggling away from home and that will be their biggest challenge in this fixture. I see this game ending as a draw. While Huddersfield are playing poorly, I don’t think Burnley are good enough to win away from home.
West Ham vs Brighton: West Ham had a shock loss over the weekend as they were beaten by Burnley. The Hammers have been playing good football but they have had a few disappointing results recently which may cause some concern for the players and the manager. Brighton, on the other hand, had a big win as they beat Everton in their last outing. Things are looking very good for Brighton but away from home, it is going to be hard to beat a West Ham side who are playing good football also. I am siding with West Ham to win since these two teams are evenly matched and I see the home advantage giving the Hammers an edge.
Cardiff City vs Tottenham: Cardiff City takes on Tottenham in Wales. Spurs suffered a shock defeat over the weekend which dented their top 4 chances greatly. It is going to be important for Tottenham to bounce back quickly as the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea are likely to win this weekend. Cardiff City, on the other hand, have been playing very well as they won over the weekend to move up the ladder. This match might be too much for Cardiff as Tottenham are a far stronger side than they are. I am picking Spurs to win this match away from home.
