Newcastle United vs Brighton: Newcastle United need a win as they have only managed 2 points all season. The Magpies are tied for the last spot and if they don’t get wins, they will struggle to avoid relegation. That being said, Newcastle showed fight in their last match as they pushed Manchester United till the end. If they perform in a similar manner, they can expect points from this match. Brighton, on the other hand, are coming off a win against West Ham United at home. While the team will feel confident after the win, this team should struggle at St James Park as they have a terrible away record having only got 1 point on the road all season. With the Magpies playing well against Manchester United and up against one of the worst traveling teams in the league, I see Newcastle United winning at home.
Bournemouth vs Southampton: This is a big rivalry game for both sides. Bournemouth are in good shape heading into this match as they have won their last 3 games. In their last game, they comfortably beat Watford 4-0 with Joshua King finding the net 2 times. The Cherries will be at home and they should expect a huge turnout as all the fans will look to support their team against their rivals. Southampton, on the other hand, are struggling as they have only won once all season. The team is struggling to score as they have not found the back of the net in their last 3 English Premier League matches. This will be a very tough match for Southampton as the atmosphere will be intimidating, especially for a team that is playing poorly. With the game at home, I see Bournemouth winning.
Cardiff City vs Fulham: Neither Cardiff City nor Fulham have started the season in the manner they would have wished. Cardiff are bottom of the ladder with only 2 points to their name. This team has no attack as they have only scored 4 times all season. The defense is also struggling as they have conceded 17 goals in 8 matches. Fulham, similarly, have also been struggling. Fulham suffered big losses to Arsenal in their last match and the defense seems to be struggling. Fortunately, they have been scoring goals with the Andre Schurrle in great form. Fulham have goals which is a huge advantage over Cardiff. That advantage should get Fulham a win.
Wolves vs Watford: Wolves have been playing some incredible football as they have only lost once all season. This team has managed to get points against top teams like Manchester United and Manchester City. Wolves are currently 7th on the ladder and with this match at home, they are in a very strong position. Watford, on the other hand, started the season well but have fallen away drastically. Watford have failed to win their last 4 matches and were beaten badly by Bournemouth last weekend. This match seems too much for Watford as Wolves are a very strong outfit. With Wolves in good form and at home, I am picking them to win.
Manchester City vs Burnley: Manchester City are at the top of the Premier League ladder once again. The Sky Blues got a massive draw away from home against Liverpool in their last match and that point was vital for them to remain top. The likes of Sergio Aguero and David Silva are playing exceptionally well and the team is looking far better than the competition. Burnley, on the other hand, only managed to get a draw against a very weak Huddersfield Town side. The away side is not a match for Manchester City as the difference in quality is too great. Manchester City should win this match with ease.
Huddersfield vs Liverpool: Huddersfield are looking like one of the worst teams in the league. The Terriers have not won all season and are looking at a very poor season since they have no goalscorers. The home team has only scored 4 times all season while having conceded 17 times. Liverpool, on the other hand, are playing exceptionally well. The Reds are 3rd on the ladder but are equal on points with the top 2 teams. Liverpool are going to be way too strong for Huddersfield. I see Liverpool getting an easy win.
Everton vs Crystal Palace: Everton have won their last 2 matches as they beat Fulham and Leicester City. This side is very inconsistent as they have managed to challenge the top teams while only getting a draw against a weak team like Huddersfield. This match is at home for Everton and they playing a Crystal Palace side that have lost their last 2 games. I think Crystal Palace are a better side than the results have suggested but away from home, I don’t think they will be good enough to beat Everton. I see Everton winning this game.
