Cardiff City vs Wolves: Cardiff City have improved slightly although they lost again as they faced Everton in their previous encounter. At home, Cardiff City have been far stronger than away and that should play to their advantage. On the other hand, Wolves have been very impressive and have caused problems to all teams in the competition. That being said, Wolves had a shock defeat to Huddersfield which would have dented the team's confidence. Wolves have better players but at home, I see Cardiff City getting a draw.
Leicester City vs Watford: Leicester City drew their last game which was a great result for the Foxes as they were away from home and had 10 men for most of the contest. The Foxes look in good form and they are now unbeaten in 5 consecutive matches. In contrast, Watford have not won in their last 5 fixtures. The team's impressive start looks miles away and the team is struggling greatly. Having lost 3-0 to Liverpool in their previous fixture, I see Watford losing this match also. I am picking Leicester City to win at home.
Manchester City vs Bournemouth: Manchester City have continued their dominance in the Premier League as they easily beat West Ham away from home in their last contest. While the Sky Blues only drew in the Champions League, this team is still looking very strong with the likes of Sergio Aguero and David Silva looking in great form. On the other side of the coin, Bournemouth have lost 3 successive games and they are going to find it very hard to turn their form around at Etihad Stadium against an exceptional Manchester City team. I see Manchester City winning this fixture with ease.
Crystal Palace vs Burnley: Crystal Palace had a very good game last weekend as they drew with Manchester United at Old Trafford. The Eagles have been playing decent football but they have struggled to get the right results. Burnley, on the other hand, have also struggled as they have been let down by their defense. With the likes of Zaha and Townsend playing for Crystal Palace, I am expecting the Burnley defence to struggle again. Crystal Palace are at home and playing better football so I am predicting that they will win this match.
Newcastle vs West Ham: Newcastle United have turned their season around as they won another game last weekend. West Ham, similarly, have also been playing good football although they were beaten at home last weekend. Looking at the respective squads, things look very even. That being said, Newcastle United are playing at home which should decide this fixture. I am picking Newcastle to win this match.
Huddersfield vs Brighton: Huddersfield received a massive boost as they beat Wolves in their previous match. The Terriers have improved over the past few weeks and they will hope they can continue their good form at home. Brighton, in contrast, have only received 1 point in their last 3 games as they have lost to the likes of Cardiff City. Looking at these two teams, the talent in the squads look even but with the Terriers at home and in better form, I see Huddersfield winning this match.
