Tottenham vs Newcastle United: Newcastle United produced an incredible upset in their last outing as they beat Manchester City. The win boosted the Magpies up the ladder and caused major shocks at the top of the table. Tottenham also won their previous fixture as the Spurs eased past Watford with a score of 2-1. Tottenham are a much stronger side when compared to Newcastle United and it is hard to see the Magpies producing back-to-back major upsets. With that in mind, I see Tottenham winning this match at home.
Everton vs Wolves: Everton snuck past Huddersfield Town in their last outing as Richarlison scored to give the Toffees much-needed 3 points. While the win was impressive, Everton lost Lucas Digne due to a red card meaning the Toffees will be without the French International for this game. Wolves, on the other hand, beat West Ham 3-0 at home. It was a very convincing performance as Raul Jimenez scored twice. Looking at the two sides, Wolves look to have a stronger XI. That being said, Everton are playing at home. With these facts taken into consideration, I am picking this game to end as a draw.
Chelsea vs Huddersfield: Huddersfield lost again over the weekend are struggling to move off the bottom spot on the ladder. In their previous game, the Terriers lost at home to a 10-men Everton side. It was another disappointing performance for the Terriers and the fans are starting to lose hope. Chelsea also had a very poor outing midweek as they were beaten 4-0 by Bournemouth. The loss was very poor for Chelsea and the manager seems to be in trouble. As far as this game is concerned, I think Chelsea have too many good players to be troubled by Huddersfield at home. I see Chelsea getting 3 points from this fixture.
Brighton vs Watford: Brighton were beaten by Fulham in their last outing. It was a very poor performance by Brighton as they defended very poorly to lose to one of the worst teams in the competition. Watford also lost their last game although the Hornets maintained pride as they were beaten by a very strong Tottenham side at Wembley. Watford are playing better football and have stronger players so I see the Hornets winning away from home.
Crystal Palace vs Fulham: Fulham won a very important game last weekend as they beat Brighton at home. It was a strong performance and it showed that the Cottagers still have the ability to fight. Crystal Palace, similarly, also had a good outing in their last game as they got a draw against Southampton away from home. Fulham will be feeling confident after their win but Crystal Palace have a much stronger side and I see the Eagles getting all 4 points at home.
Cardiff City vs Bournemouth: Cardiff City lost their last game as they were beaten by Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. Returning to Wales will give Cardiff a boost as they are far stronger at home. That being said, Bournemouth are looking in exceptional form after their massive 4-0 win over Chelsea. Playing away at Cardiff is not an easy task but Bournemouth played very well and look to be very high on confidence. With that in mind, I see Bournemouth winning away from home.
Burnley vs Southampton: Southampton only managed to get a draw against Crystal Palace at home in their last outing. It was a disappointing game for the Saints as they should have beaten the Eagles at home. Burnley, in contrast, were exceptional in their last game as they produced a 2-2 draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford. Burnley look to be playing better football and I see them beating Southampton at home.
