Huddersfield vs Wolves: Huddersfield lost another match over the weekend as they were beaten by Newcastle United. It was a poor outing for Huddersfield which resulted in Tommy Smith getting sent off meaning that the Terriers will be without a key player in this match. Looking at Wolves, the visitors enter this match in decent form as they managed to get a draw against Bournemouth away from home in their previous match. Wolves are playing better football and have a much stronger team so I am picking them to win this match.
Cardiff City vs Everton: Cardiff City will play against Everton in Wales. Cardiff City have had an amazing recovery since January and they look like they have a realistic chance of avoiding relegation. That being said, Cardiff City were beaten badly at home by Watford in their last game and a 5-1 loss might have dented the team's confidence. Everton’s last game was also against Watford and the Toffees also lost against the Hornets. Everton are playing very poor football and have lost their last 3 games. With all that in mind, I see this match ending as a draw since neither side looks good enough to win.
Leicester City vs Brighton: Leicester City had a poor loss in their last outing as they were beaten at home by Crystal Palace. The loss cost the Leicester manager his job and the team seem to be heading in the wrong direction. On the other side of the coin, Brighton had a rest weekend as their game was postponed. Brighton are not playing great football either. Neither team seem like they can win a game at the moment and that is the reason I am going to pick this game to end as a draw.
Newcastle vs Burnley: Newcastle had a solid win over the weekend as they beat Huddersfield Town at home. The Magpies are playing good football and while the team lacks quality, they are fighting to get points. Burnley, similarly, also won over the weekend although their win in more impressive as they upset Tottenham. Both of these teams are fighting for survival and a win will be massive for either side. That being said, I am picking Newcastle to win. The Magpies are playing at home and I see the St James Park atmosphere getting the job done.
Southampton vs Fulham: Both of these teams are struggling and in serious danger of relegation. In the previous match, Southampton were beaten 2-0 as they lost to Arsenal. It was a poor loss as the Saints had no real chance of getting any points. It was a similar result for Fulham also as they were comfortably beaten by West Ham United. This game is not going to be a blockbuster but the result will be vital so I am going to pick the Saints to win. I am expecting the fans to pack into St Mary’s Stadium and the crowd should get the home team a win.
Arsenal vs Bournemouth: It was a comfortable win for Arsenal over the weekend as they beat Southampton at home. Bournemouth, on the other hand, only managed a draw at home against Wolves. Bournemouth have had a tough few weeks as they have not won in February. Arsenal have the stronger squad and are in better form. Furthermore, Arsenal will be at home for this match. Adding all that up, I see Arsenal getting all 3 points from this fixture.
Crystal Palace vs Manchester United: Crystal Palace had a big win over the weekend as they Leicester City 4-1 away from home. It was a very good win where Wilf Zaha showed his class by scoring 2 goals. Manchester United also had a good week as they got a draw against Liverpool. The Eagles are very strong at home but Manchester United seem to have too good of a team to lose to Crystal Palace. I am picking Manchester United to win this game away from home.
