Everton vs Burnley: Everton have looked good in recent weeks as the team is attempting to finish the season strongly. In their last outing, Everton travelled to Selhurst Park where they managed a 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace. Burnley, on the other hand, were defeated by Manchester City. Burnley are safe from relegation and with 2 games remaining, it is hard to see the team having high motivation to compete away from home. Everton are the stronger side and have home advantage, so I see them winning this fixture.
Bournemouth vs Tottenham: Tottenham have seemed to have done enough to secure themselves a spot in the Champions League. With that in mind, it is highly likely that Spurs will rest key players like Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli as the team will be playing in the Champions League midweek. Bournemouth, on the other hand, are safe from relegation and the Cherries have switched off. Bournemouth managed a 3-3 draw against Southampton where the defending was very poor. Neither side will be focused on this contest, but I see Tottenham having too much talent, so I am picking Spurs to win away from home.
West Ham vs Southampton: West Ham had a big win in the previous round as they defeated Tottenham away from home. West Ham were the less dominant side, but the team scored in the 67th minute to win 1-0. Southampton, on the other side of the coin, managed a 3-3 draw at home against Bournemouth. The Saints are officially safe from relegation and many of the players will switch off after many tough weeks. Neither side will be 100% focused on this contest but with the venue taken into consideration, I see West Ham winning this match for their fans.
Wolves vs Fulham: Fulham have managed some decent results in recent weeks although the team is set to be relegated. The Cottagers beat Cardiff City in their last match, and it looks like the team is going to leave on a positive. Wolves have also been playing well as the team beat Watford away from home in their last outing. Both teams are winning and although this result means little, we should expect a good match. Wolves have the better side and they should be too strong for Fulham at home.
Cardiff City vs Crystal Palace: Cardiff City must win the remainder of their games if they wish to compete with Brighton for a spot in the Premier League next season. Cardiff suffered a big loss last weekend as they were beaten by Fulham. Looking at this match, Cardiff will expect to get a result from this fixture. Crystal Palace look like they have switched off and that was evident in their previous match as they managed a stale 0-0 draw at home against Everton. Cardiff City have more to play for and I see them winning this match.
Newcastle vs Liverpool: This season has fallen away very quickly for Liverpool as they look to this match. The Reds are likely to be eliminated in the Champions League and are unlikely to win the Premier League title. That being said, winning is important for Liverpool as they can hope for Manchester City to drop points. Newcastle are safe from relegation and with no major reason for points, I see them losing to a very strong Liverpool side.
Chelsea vs Watford: Watford were beaten in their previous match as they lost at home to Wolves. It was a poor outing for the Hornets as they were outplayed at home. Chelsea, on the other hand, were competitive as they got a point at Old Trafford against Manchester United. Chelsea are the stronger side and the Blues are still fighting for a spot in the Champions League. I see Chelsea winning at home.
