Fulham vs Watford: Fulham will host Watford at Craven Cottage. Fulham have shown lots of promise but have failed to convert it into any points. The Cottagers were beaten last weekend by Manchester City and they are now in desperate need of points. On the other side of the coin, Watford are in a very good situation as they have won 4 games. Watford lost to Manchester United last weekend but even in defeat, the Hornets showed great skill and composure. Watford are playing much better football than Fulham at the moment and I see them getting a win away from home.
Burnley vs Bournemouth: Burnley are at the bottom of the Premier League ladder and things need to turn around quickly if they wish to keep in touch with the teams above them. Burnley lost to Wolves in their last match and while the result was only 1-0, the difference between the sides was much greater. Bournemouth, in contrast, won against Leicester City in their last match. The Bournemouth team is well built and it has a good mix of youth and experience. Considering how poorly Burnley are playing, I see them losing again.
Cardiff vs Manchester City: Cardiff were beaten badly last weekend at the hands of Chelsea it seems like the team from Wales is out of their league in this division. Currently 17th of the ladder, it is hard to see where Cardiff will get points since they lack attacking threat and the defense is struggling to stop goals. This weekend will be even tougher since Manchester City are visiting. Manchester City are a very good team and they showed that once again as they beat Fulham. While Cardiff will try to fight at home, I don’t see any other result but a big win for Manchester City.
Crystal Palace vs Newcastle: Crystal Palace won last weekend thanks to a wonderful goal by Wilf Zaha. Zaha has been incredible this season and he has been the main reason why the Eagles have remained in the Premier League for such a long time. The defense is starting to improve for Crystal Palace as James Tomkins and Mamadou Sakho have formed a very good partnership. This weekend they will look to beat a struggling Newcastle United team. Newcastle United have not won a single game all season and have only 1 point. Considering the team's poor form, I see them struggling away from home against a Crystal Palace form that is finding form. I see Crystal Palace winning at home.
Leicester City vs Huddersfield: Leicester City have shown promise but have been let down by players getting sent off. This was the case last weekend where the Foxes were reduced to 10 men which resulted in defeat at the hands of Bournemouth. This is a game they must win since the Foxes are not in a situation where they must get points. There is plenty of talent in the Leicester City team but the players need to take more responsibility. Similar to Leicester CIty, Huddersfield also need points but they don’t look close to getting any points. The Terriers were beaten at home last weekend and with this match away from home, I see them struggling. I am picking Leicester City to win this match.
Brighton vs Tottenham: Brighton have been decent at home as they have managed to get results and points. That being said, this is set to be a very tough task since they are playing one of the best teams in Europe. Tottenham have lost 2 straight games and are in desperate need of points. With the pressure on the likes of Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen to perform, I am expecting a top performance from the Spurs. I think the quality of Tottenham will be too much for Brighton and I the Spurs getting a win away from home.
